(MY) Aumas Resources Berhad - Capacity and Resource Expansions In Sight

Technical Outlook

Bullish divergence signals. Price experienced bullish divergence signals and is pending a further breakout to test its next resistance at RM0.515, followed by RM0.585 resistance level, while support zone is set at RM0.365-0.375. A break below the support zone would invalidate the setup.

Trading Catalysts

  • Elevated gold and silver prices. Gold price rebounded above the USD4,600 level due to heightened geopolitical tensions while silver price traded higher toward the USD68.0 level, which would translate into higher ASP for the Group.
  • Upstream capacity expansion via 2,000 tpd processing plant. A new processing plant at Bukit Mantri with 2,000 tpd processing capacity is under development, expected to be operational on 1HFY27 and has more than double current processing throughput (existing plant operating at ~1,200 tpd), addressing the bottleneck that has capped gold production volumes despite abundant in-situ resources.
  • Resource expansion via Mount Andrassy exploration. AUMAS has secured exclusive prospecting, exploration, and mining rights across an 18,000-ha concession at Mount Andrassy (~10 km from Bukit Mantri) via a partnership with Aurelius Borneo Mining, where AUMAS holds a 70% profit-sharing stake. Geological mapping and initial exploratory drilling are currently progressing to delineate gold-bearing ore bodies, providing significant mine-life extension beyond its existing Bukit Mantri footprint.
