Shares of Tesla Inc. ($Tesla Motors, Inc. TSLA$) fell by 2.65% to US$169.18 as of 21:51 GMT+8.
Tesla is set to hold its 2024 annual shareholder meeting on June 14, where a US$56 billion compensation plan for CEO Elon Musk will be voted on. Several major shareholders, including the 8th largest investor Norway's sovereign wealth fund and the California State Teachers' Retirement System, indicated they will oppose the compensation plan.
